    Our meeting was held near Fort Gaines, GA at the Cottonhill Corp. Of Engineers Park. Members present were Sue and George Daws, Bill and Evelyn McCall, Margie Roberts, Clarice Tyler and Tom Holloman. Margie’s friend Marian Baumann was a guest.

     Clarice presided at our meeting. Bill led the pledge of allegiance.  Club dues should be paid in November. Wagonmaster Sue would like the members to think of 3 campgrounds they would like to visit in 2004. Tom won the prize of wheel covers.

     Our next meeting will be at Eagle’s Roost Campground in Lake Park, GA from Monday Nov. 10 thru Thursday Nov. 13. Monday at 1 or 2 p.m. we will have a fish fry with the Daws bringing fresh fish from the coast. Menu includes Margie’s and Tom’s “mountain French Fries”, Clarice’s baked beans, salad or slaw and George’s hush puppies.

     Wed. Sue and George served a delicious soup with ingredients contributed by the members. Sue also had a cherry cobbler to celebrate Marian’s birthday. We enjoyed a Thursday lunch at a nearby park restaurant. Thursday night Tom grilled hotdogs for everyone. Some played the card game “Skat”. The weather was exceptionally nice.
