On August 28, 2004 a meeting was held at the Cullasaja Campground in Franklin, NC. Those attending were Sue/George Daws, Margie Roberts/Carlos Bowers and Tom Holloman. Keith Daws visited with us for 2 days. George presided. Sue gave the opening prayer. The Pledge of Allegiance was given by the members.

Wagonmaster Sue discussed our upcoming campouts. We will meet at Sugarmill on Sept. 19-22, Cottonhill on Oct. 10-13, Lake Park on Nov. 7-10 and Sugarmill on Dec. 5-8. Members agreed to attend the Georgia State Rally April 20-23, 2005 in Perry, GA.

We welcome our new members Sandra and Jim Robinson. We look forward to campouts with you.

Our usual sightseeing, shopping, eating, games and good fellowship were enjoyed by all at our August campout. The Daws made delicious homemade vanilla ice cream. We visited Barber’s produce in Waynesville where we purchased apple cakes, loaves, turnovers, muffins and apples. Also celebrated Margie’s and George’s birthdays. Tom brought some tasty grapes and a roast and hotdogs. Everyone contributed late afternoon snacks. The weather was so pleasant that we were able to sit outside a lot.
