The Big Bend Winnie-Tascas Chapter met for their December meeting on Monday, December 12, 2005 at the Sugarmill Campground at Ochlocknee, GA.  The following members were present: Larry and Laverta Bishop, Tom Holloman, Margie Roberts, Carlos Bowers, Roger and Karen Inman, George and Sue Daws. 

Margie reported on the dates for the upcoming Florida and Georgia rallies and requested all who are planning to attend the George rally to bring their registration form and money to the next meeting.  These will all be mailed in together.

Sue and George donated  3 door prizes. Carlos won the big prize of a nice box filled with "goodies" that he shared with the group. Laverta and Larry won the other prizes of auto coffee cups. Thanks to Sue and George for their contributions.

The members had lunch at the Farmers Market Restaurant on Monday. This was the chapters' Christmas dinner and was enjoyed by all present. Members agreed to donate money to the Big Bend Hospice in lieu of giving gifts to one another.

The proposed agenda for 2006 was discussed and the tentative schedule follows.

Jan. 14 – lunch at the Seineyard  Restaurant – 11:00 – with dessert and meeting to follow at Carlos/Margie’s home.

Feb. 12-15 (Sun-Wed)  Oaks N Pines -- one meal might be provided by the campground at a cost of $5-$7

Mar.12-15 (Sun-Wed) Sugarmill

Apr.18-23 (Tues-Sun) Ga. Winnebago Rally – Perry,GA.  The group will probably gather at Twin Oaks on Mon. 17^th.

May 14-17 (Sun-Wed) Cottonhill

Jun 11-14 (Sun-Wed) Lake Park – Eagles Roost

July 23-26 (Sun-Wed) Sugarmill

Aug. 14-21 (Mon-Mon) Cullasaja RV Park, Franklin, NC

Sept.. 10-13 (Sun-Wed) Barbara and Ray Phillip's home

We were very happy to have Tom’s daughter, Anna Lynn and son-in-law Don join us on Sunday afternoon for snacks.  It is always such a pleasure to visit with them.
