Big Bend Winnie-Tascas February 2005 Newsletter The Big Bend Winnie-Tascas campers had their February meeting at the Oaks ‘N Pines Campground out of Lake City, FL on Sunday 13th until Thursday 17th. Those attending were Bill and Evelyn McCall, Tom Holloman, Margie Roberts, Carlos Bowers, George and Sue Daws and Area WIT Representatives John and Marlyn Fischer. President Margie called the meeting to order. Sue led the group in their opening prayer with Tom leading the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. Evelyn gave the Treasurer's report. The group voted to change the location of the March meeting to the Sopchoppy City Campground on Thursday March 10th until Sunday March 13th. Sue will make reservations for the campout. Margie mentioned a Rally at KOA Lake Park, GA sponsored by Suncoast for Florida Winnebago-Itasca owners. She will be receiving more information and will notify the members. It is before the Georgia State Rally. The door prize (windshield washing brush), donated by our sponsor, Harbison-Swanston of Holiday, was won by Carlos. During the campout the members and guests enjoyed delicious roast beef and gravy furnished by Tom with others contributing side dishes for our Tuesday lunch and dinner. Wednesday morning, Tom had wonderful biscuits, sausage and jellies. Margie and Carlos led everyone to a good seafood restaurant on Wednesday in Lake City. We also enjoyed fun games, delightful conversation and just once again visiting with our special friends. We really enjoyed having the Fischer’s visit and hope they will return again soon.
