The Big Bend Winnie Tascas members met at the Seineyard Restaurant in Woodville on Saturday, January 29, 2005.  Attending were members: Margie/Carlos, Bill/Evelyn, Larry/Laverta, Tom, Richard Smith, George/Sue and guests Marian Bauman and Lois Goode.  Everyone enjoyed delicious seafood and adjourned to Carlos/Margie's home for the meeting and dessert.

 

The meeting was called to order by President Margie Roberts.  Larry led the group in Prayer and Tom the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag.  Evelyn gave the Treasurer's report including the donation to Big Bend Hospice of $100.

 

Area WIT Representatives, the Fischer's, will join us on Tuesday, February 15th and Wednesday, February 16th for our campout at Oaks 'N Pines in Lake City scheduled for Feb. 13-17. The door prize (30 amp power cord), donated by our sponsor, Harbison-Swanston of Holiday, was won by Larry. 

 

After the meeting adjourned the group enjoyed delicious homemade pies - chocolate and coconut- made by Margie. Everyone also enjoyed checking out Carlos' three motorcycles, including his newly renovated 3-wheeler.  Nice job, Carlos. Thanks go to Margie and Carlos for the use of their beautiful home for the meeting and the delicious refreshments.
