Evelyn gave the Treasurer's report. Margie reported the By-Laws will be submitted to WIT for approval. Also Tom will audit the books for the year 2004 following the meeting. LaVerta suggested we have a banner made with the chapter name, logo and in the chapter colors to be put in a metal stand and displayed in front of the president’s RV at campouts, rallies, etc. Larry and LaVerta will research and report back at the next meeting. Next month’s meeting will start at the KOA RV Park in Lake Park, GA on Wed., April 13 until Sun. April 17 which is a Suncoast rally for Florida Winnebago Clubs. We will leave there on Sun. and go to a campground near Ashburn (exit 84) to stay until Tues., April 19. On Tues. we will leave for the Perry Fairgrounds for the Georgia Winnebago Rally which will last until Sunday, April 24. The door prize (white water hose), donated by our sponsor, Harbison-Swanston of Holiday, was won by Evelyn. The campout was at the Sopchoppy City Park Campground with 3 Rvs -- Margie/Carlos, Bill/Evelyn and Tom. The Daws stayed at home in order to serve some great meals for the group. Some of our feasting was on steak and potato soup, fish with all the trimmings and 2 delicious desserts. Some activities enjoyed were: boat riding on Lake Talquin by the men in Keith Daws houseboat, a trip to George Griffin Pottery, Carrabelle and Apalachacola by the ladies, visit to Gulf Specimen Marine Lab, 2 short games of Scat, grilling of hamburgers, a fish fry and lots of enjoyable conversation. The campers joined Sue and George at the Ochlockonee Bay United Methodist Church for services on Sun. morning, followed by lunch at a local restaurant before returning to their homes.
