We had a very short meeting discussing our Christmas meeting at Sugarmill on Dec. 5-8 with a party at Tom’s daughter’s home in Thomasville. Sunday we had lunch at the local Farmhouse restaurant. Margie and Carlos cooked hamburgers for everyone on Monday. Some of us did Christmas shopping.

On December 5-9 our meeting was held at Sugarmill Campground in Ochlockonee, GA. Attending were LaVerta/Larry Bishop, Margie Roberts/Carlos Bowers, Evelyn/Bill McCall and Tom Holloman. Sue/George Daws joined us for the party in Thomasville on Sunday. Anna Lynn’s home was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Don also joined us. She served hot cider, tea, coffee, sandwiches and dates wrapped in bacon. Everyone brought some other dishes that were enjoyed by all.

President Larry presided for the meeting. A prayer, Pledge of Allegiance were given. Minutes were accepted. Thanks was given to Anna and Don for hosting our Christmas party. Donations were made by the members to Big Bend Hospice in lieu of exchanging gifts.

The January meeting has been changed to January 29 at Seineyard Restaurant in Woodville at 11:30 a.m. Our next campout will be at the North Florida Campground, Chipley, FL from February 10-13. WIT Eastern Area Representatives John and Marlyn Fischer will be joining us on Thursday and Friday.

Everyone say a prayer for George on January 4. We look forward to Sue and George joining us camping real soon.
