Big Bend Winnie-Tascas Margie Roberts Volume No. 11 November 1, 2004 On October 11 our meeting was held at Cottonhill Campground, Fort Gaines, GA. Those attending were Sue/George Daws, Margie Roberts/Carlos Bowers, Evelyn/Bill McCall and Tom Holloman. Guests were Dot/Ben Mills and friends Helen/J.W.Vice President George presided. Sue gave the opening prayer. The Pledge of Allegiance was given by everyone. The raffle prize of a sewer hose was won by Carlos. Wagonmaster Sue reported our next campout will be at Eagles Roost Campground in Lake Park, GA on November 7-10. Everyone should make their own reservations at Lake Park. Sugarmill will again be our site December 5-8. We voted to give donations of $10 per person to Big Bend Hospice instead of Christmas gifts to each other. The Nominating Committee of Bill and George gave their recommendations for our new Officers for 2004 and 2005. These nominees were accepted by those present to become our new Officers. Margie -- President; Tom -- Vice President; Sue -- Secretary; Evelyn -- Treasurer. Evelyn, Margie and Sue met after the meeting to makeup a schedule for our campouts in 2005. Margie will have a copy for everyone. Our January meeting will be held at the Seineyard Restaurant in Woodville on the Jan. 8 at 11:15. Most of the meetings are over weekends to accommodate our members who are working. We are taking turns being Wagonmasters. The Wagonmasters will have the option of purchasing meat to serve which will be paid by the club not to exceed $50. Everyone enjoyed playing games and the usual good eating with Chili on Sun. night and breakfast on Tues. morning. Monday we had lunch at the lodge nearby.
