President Larry presided. Sue gave the opening prayer. The Pledge of Allegiance was given by everyone. Larry appointed Bill and George to a nominating committee for our new officers. The raffle prize of a water hose donated by our sponsor Harberson-Swanson was won by Evelyn.

Wagonmaster Sue reported our next campout will be October 10-13 at Cottonhill Corp. of Engineers Campground near Fort Gaines, GA. Margie and Carlos will have chili for everyone on Sunday late afternoon. We will meet at Eagles Roost Campground in Lake Park, GA on November 7-10. Everyone should make their own reservations at Lake Park. Sugarmill will again be our site December 5-8. Anna has graciously offered her home for our Christmas party. We discussed exchanging gifts or making donations to some needy cause.

Our WIT representatives, the Fischer’s, would like to meet with the club either in January or February. Evelyn received a nice letter to the club from Clarice’s daughter Elaine.

Sunday Carlos grilled hamburgers for everyone. There were many added goodies. Monday we had lunch at the Farmer’s Market restaurant where all of us really enjoy eating. We had wonderful campfires two nights. Monday night a group of entertainers were practicing in a building near our campfire. Carlos asked them to entertain us at the campfire. They played a mandolin, guitar, bass fiddle, fiddle and banjo with many entertaining songs of bluegrass and country.
