Who may join? |
An owner of any Winnebago Industries products who are willing to share in a special camaraderie known to RV'ers. You must join the Winnebago-Itasca- Travelers (WIT) Club to join the State Club (Florida Winnie-Gators) or local Chapter
The Du-Bol Winnies Local Chapter is a group of Winnebago-Itasca owners living primarily in
the northeast counties of Florida. When the chapter was formed in 1975,
Jacksonville was booming and just expanded into the whole DUVAL County. It had just
become the BOLD NEW CITY OF THE SOUTH! The unusual name was derived from
Du(val)-Bol(d) New City: DU-BOL.
The Du-Bol Winnies hold meetings every month of the year at various RV parks. These outings are held on the weekends beginning with the third Thursday of the month. There is sightseeing, shopping, games, conversation, and the best food to tempt every appetite!
A big part of the Du-Bols activities is the work we do for the community. At this time we actively support the "Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Florida". We also work with our local Winnebago-Itasca dealers in promoting the RV lifestyle to their customers.
