| Doug Formanek, My name is Doug Formanek, and I grew up on a farm in nearby Hayfield, IA. Right out of high school, I took a job at Winnebago Industries in 1967. For more that 37 years since then, I've worked at this company as it has grown and become the premier RV manufacturer in the industry. I have worn many hats of responsibility in several departments over the years, but my most recent was as a production manager. I have had the opportunity to meet a number of WIT members at the Grand National Rally over the years. I've always made a point to walk around the rally grounds during the GNR, to meet some of our owners and to be a part of this great event. I have met many neat people who have attended the rally, some of whom still attend to this day, and I'm anxious to renew those friendships. My partner in this new position will be my wife of 36 years. Pat has been a teacher in the Forest City school system for 35 years and will retire from that job to join me in this new experience. We have been avid travelers for many years with many modes of transportation. We have motorhomed, motorcycled and even snowmobiled. Many great ways to see our beautiful country and Canada! We are excited to have even more opportunities to view the world from the vantage point of a motor home. On our travels we look forward to meeting WIT members at state and regional rallies and events along the way. Though we'll be traveling in our motor home, don't be surprised to see us pulling a motorcycle or a classic car behind us for short excursions. The wonderful staff members who work at the WIT Office are superb in what they do, and they will assist me in continuing the excellent services and benefits provided through the WIT Club. As with any new position, it seems there is much to learn, but I know the transition from my previous position to this one will be made easier due to this group. I have met with them all and know they are dedicated to making the Grand National Rally and the WIT organization the best it can be. My wife and I are looking forward to traveling to events and meeting current and new WIT members. We look forward to the new challenges and opportunities this position will offer. We will do our best to support and help our members make the most of their RV ownership. I would like to than Dennis Burkholder for all his contributions to the WIT Club over the past few years. I sincerely look forward to working with the WIT staff, our Area Reps and the WIT members as we continue to make the WIT Club a fun, exciting group for you to be a part of as you enjoy your RV.
