Funtime Travelers Our campout was held at the Encore Super Park in Port Charlotte, Florida, from April 16- 18. The weather was pleasant and 17 members were at the campout. Eileen., twin sister of Irene Dickelman and sister of Phyllis Clinton attended the campout, all the way from Illinois. This is Eileen’s third visit to our chapter. We relaxed in the screened area and had light snacks before we carpooled to the International Buffet Restaurant in Port Charlotte. Guests included Ellen and Charles Zucher and Artice and Larry Moore. We played Dominoes and card games after dinner. Saturday the hosts, Paula and Bud Geng, served biscuits and gravy plus Scrambled eggs. We held a successful “White Elephant Sale”. Dee and Jerry Fuller came to visit and stayed for our happy hour. Dinner was spaghetti and meatballs and salad, followed by cards and dominoes. Anne and Dean Crewdson joined us for dinner and played cards with the group. We had a 50-50 raffle and Barb Evans won the prize. Sunday morning we had coffee, juice and Danish. We said our goodbyes and wished everyone a great summer of health and enjoyable travels.
