Funtime Travelers

Chapter Campout – November 14, 15, 16, 2003 – Little Willies RV Resort, Arcadia, FL

 The Funtime Travelers met once again to renew friendships, and be updated on the sights and sounds experienced by each and every traveler during the summer months.

Two new couples were introduced, Barb and Harlan Evans, and Fran and David Surles.  We welcome the Evans and the Surles to the Funtime Travelers.

Friday we went to the Paradise Restaurant in Arcadia. Joanne and Glenn Hailey Joined us for dinner.
Upon our return to Little Willies we played dominoes and Cards.  Shirley Halstead, the hostess baked a chocolate- maple cake, which was yummy.

On Saturday morning after a pitch-in-breakfast, the chapter meeting was held. A few of the Funtimers went to some antique shops and others learned a new  Po-ke-no game. Shirley and Phil Halstead instructed the group how to play.  Saturday night for dinner, Shirley and Phil fried a turkey. The table was set with tablecloths and napkins to enhance the “Funtime Travelers Thanksgiving Day” Celebration. 

We played games and cards after the big dinner.

On Sunday after a breakfast of coffee, Danish Pastries and juice, we had our good-bye hugs, and left Little Willies.
