Nine coaches met at Little Willie's in Arcadia for our campout the weekend of November 16-19, hosted by Dave and Betty McLauchlin. Four of the nine were new members of our chapter, and we are so pleased to welcome them! In addition to the the Evans’, Phyllis Clinton, Halstead’s, McLauchlin’s and Randolph’s, joining us as new members were Barry & Ruth Hough, John & Lynn Kitchens, David Nobert & Janice Cummings and Lloyd & Sue Wright.

We had our usual meet and greet Happy Hour on Friday. Dinner was supposed to be hobo stew, but since the roaster was full already, we just added green beans, and saved our veggies for another time. Dave and Janice brought garlic and plain bread so that was great with the stew. We also had biscuits, so food was plentiful. Not enough left over for Saturday though!

Saturday was a pitch in breakfast, with our chapter meeting afterward. Our co-presidents, Ted & Evie Meekma joined us to conduct the meeting, as did Paula Geng, our secretary.

Following the meeting, some chose to make a trip in to Arcadia for antiques, and some went shopping at Walmart! All were back by two for a new golf game, designed by Harlan Evans. It was so much fun we never did get to bean bag baseball, which was also scheduled!

Another Happy Hour, and then out to dinner at Reef and Beef. Or was it Beef and Reef! Whichever! I think everyone enjoyed the food and the service was great! Little Willie's had a dance, with a very good singer from 7 till 9, and would you believe Phyllis stayed in there until they shut down! She was having a great time! Some of us wandered in and out and kept her company, and Janice stayed till the end with her. Others had a good time playing dominoes.

Sunday morning breakfast was as usual, followed by goodbye hugs. According to comments made at that time, everyone had a good time.

We hope to see all of you again at our joint "Christmas" campout with the Caloosa's, December 6-9 at Oak Haven RV Park at Arcadia.

Have a great Thanksgiving!
