Funtime Travelers

            Sixteen Funtime Travelers arrived Thursday, November 18, 2004, to enjoy the chapter’s 10^TH Birthday. The party was held at Little Willies RV Resort in Arcadia, FL. The remainder of the group arrived the next day which brought the total to 22 members and two guests, Brigitte and Cliff Gilmore, friends of Shirley and Phil Halstead who are always welcomed to share our camping.  
           Thursday, the group dined at “Reef and Beef”, in Arcadia.  Phyllis Clinton made a cake and served it before we played dominoes and          Cards.
           On Friday during happy hour, Rob Krajicek a SkyMed rep spoke about his group.
           Rob and Sherry Krajicek are new members, in addition to Joanne and Ed Foga.  Phyllis Clinton baked a ham and everyone brought a side dish to share, for Friday’s dinner.
           Saturday morning after a pitch-in-breakfast, we held our chapter meeting.  Shirley and Phil Halstead fried two turkeys for the party. The balloons and decorations added a festive touch. Nona Meeks stopped by on Saturday with her Son Billy Meeks.
           Four couples shared in the festivities. Anne and Dean Crewdson, Dee and Jerry Fuller, Helen and Ward Marlatt, Alice Tate and             Mike McGreen
           Helen and Ward were presented a certificate as Funtime Travelers Honorary Members.  In conjunction, Helen and Ward are Charter members of both WIT, AND the Funtime Travelers.  Quite an accomplishment!
           HarbersonSwanston donated gift certificates and a check to cover the expenses. Bud Geng, Phil Halstead, Paul Madsen and Donna Randolph won the Gift certificates.  Camping World donated goody-bag items to pass out.
           On Sunday we enjoyed a light continental breakfast of coffee, pastries and Juice, we had our good-bye hugs, and left Little Willies, wishing each other a  Happy Thanksgiving.
