The following article is submitted by Anne and Dean Crewdson, Co-Secretaries, Funtime Travelers, Local Florida Chapter: The Funtime Travelers met at Sun Lake RV Resort, Ruskin, FL, September 29-October 6, 2002, for their kick-off campout of the 2002-2003 season.  Eight coaches were in attendance which made this one of our largest September gatherings since many of our members are still traveling.  After traveling all summer Jim and Alice Tate decided to spend this winter in Mesa, AZ.  Phyllis Clinton and Irene Dickelman hosted the weekend and scheduled activities included supper at Sonny's Barbeque Friday evening, potluck breakfast and supper on Saturday.  We are always amazed at the variety of food selections for our potlucks with never  any duplication.  Phyllis and Irene got the chapter into the  camping season mood with a job well done. It seems there is growing competition between the Fuller and Clinton managed beanbag baseball teams at each of our campouts.  Our game on Saturday afternoon starred among others, "heavy hitter" Ken Tupper.  The Clinton team had to pull off a big money trade with the Fuller team (Tupper for Tupper) in order to even the score. Some of our members had made plans to travel to Biloxi, MS after the campout.  Needless to say those plans were blown apart by Isadore and Lilli.  We'll have to reschedule that trip to another time and not during hurricane season.
