Dannie & Marge Harper, Western Area Representatives

       Dannie and Margie have been WIT members for seven years and have been actively involved in the Wash-A-Bagos Washington State Club.  Dannie just completed a term as president of the state club and previously worked up through the chairs from second vice president.  They love to travel and meet new friends, especially during WIT activities.

      The Harpers both grew up in the Pacific Northwest, and continued to reside there throughout their lives.  Dannie retired from the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard fire department, leaving at the rank of Assistant Fire Chief in 1995.  He also owned and operated a tractor business during this time.

      Margie worked as a Special Education Assistant with junior high school students.  She also owned a food service business.

      They have  three children, each married, and now four grandchildren, with a new addition in May.  All of their family lives in the Bremerton area.

      Dannie also does magic with Margie as his "trusty" assistant.  He has even brought his act to the Grand National Rally to entertain participants in the youth program.
