Our April Rally brought us to Stagecoach R.V. Park in St. Augustine Florida.  We had 15 coaches who attended our rally, which was hosted by Bob & Joan Senus.  They did a bang up job organizing and planning this rally.  Sunday has become our early day and most of us showed up on the early day.  We all began setting up  and then sat around chatting and catching up on any info any of us had.  That evening many of us decided to go to Sonny’s BBQ for dinner where many of us enjoyed the ribs.  Later that evening most of us got together to play “screw your neighbor” card game.  This game has become so popular with our group that we had to breakup into two tables.  We had as many as 24 folks playing.
Monday was a day we had to ourselves while waiting for the rest of the group to arrive.  Camping World and Prime Outlets were close by and most of us took advantage of those places.  That afternoon we had our business meeting which was followed by a caravan to a restaurant called Schooners (a fish house).  The food was excellent and the company superb.  That evening we met at the clubhouse to play cards again.
Tuesday morning our hosts, the Senus’, had arranged for a tour of  St. Augustine by the Red Train Trolley Company.  We were met at the campground by bus to take us on this tour.  Once we boarded the Red Train Trolley the driver gave us a narrated tour of St. Augustine for about an hour and a half.  We also received passes for the rest of our stay to re-board the train at any time.  We could then explore St. Augustine at our leisure.
That afternoon we had an attitude adjustment and chatted about we had discovered in St. Augustine.  This was followed by a potluck supper of BBQ sandwiches with all the fixings provided by our hosts the Senus’.  Later that evening we played cards in the clubhouse.
Wednesday we were on our own to use the Red Train tickets or explore the many attractions in St. Augustine.  There was Ripley’s Believe it or not, The Fountain of Youth, Lightner Museum and many more fascinating places.  That afternoon we met back again for an attitude adjustment chatting about the many places we visited.  We then made plans to go to Kingfish Grill.  This restaurant was located on the bay and they had an outside area for dining on the water.  The setting was beautiful, however, that evening a cold front came in  bringing a strong, cold breeze.  Many of our female members were freezing and it dulled the luster of the place.  Later we warmed up playing screw your neighbor card game.
Thursday morning our hosts provided a continental breakfast with buns, coffee, and juice.  After about an hour we began saying our goodbyes and giving each other hugs for another month. We all wished each other a safe trip home.
