Our May rally brought us to St Lucie R.V. Park in St. Lucie Florida.  We had 11 coaches who attended this rally, which was hosted by Sue & Dave Chonoles.  They did a great job organizing and planning this rally. All 11 coaches came on the early day Sunday.  Throughout the day as we arrived we began setting up and chatting with each other.  Many of us went to lunch and began checking out the area(  looking for Walmart etc.).  Later that day we all met for an attitude adjustment in the clubhouse thank God because it was very warm and outside would have been difficult.  That evening many of us went to Miller’s Ale House.  This time the men sat together and the women did the same.  It was different but worked out and we all had a good time.  Later we all met for our favorite pastime playing screw your neighbor card game.  No matter how many times we play that silly game we have a great time and a lot of laughs.
Monday morning we were on our own to checkout the area and have lunch out or eat in.  That afternoon we met at the clubhouse for attitude adjustment and later it turned into a Pot Luck dinner.  Our members sure do know how to cook.  After we stuffed ourselves Sue Chonoles organized a type of Bingo game.  Instead of letters she used parts of our Winnebago coaches ( stove, awning, Vectra etc. ).  It was a lot of fun and there were prizes at the end.  We were all asked to bring a unisex gift of about $20.  She & Dave organized a type of ring around the rosie to exchange these gifts. We had a lot of fun and received some nice gifts as well.
Tuesday morning our hosts had organized a trip to the Navy Seal Museum.  This proved to be extremely interesting.  We had a guide who was very knowledgeable  and gave a lot of interesting stories. It was located on the same spot that the original Navy Seal training school was started.  Lunch was on our own on our way home.  That afternoon we had another attitude adjustment followed by dinner at Mulligan’s restaurant.  That evening cards at the clubhouse for the end of a great day.
Wednesday morning we had our monthly club meeting which lasted till noon.  That afternoon our hosts scheduled a visit the Florida Power and Light Energy Encounter center.  This also proved to be extremely interesting.  Later after a quick attitude adjustment most of us went to dinner to a restaurant named Café Crème.  We had a great time enjoying the food as well as each other’s company.  Later again we played cards at the clubhouse.
Thursday morning our hosts provided a continental breakfast were we sat around eating and chatting with each for about an hour.  It was finally time to give hugs and wish each other a safe and happy Summer.
