Sept. 22, 1973 W.I.T. Chapter of Excellence The Space Coast Winnies Chapter was chartered in 1973 by Winnebago Industries to provide communication and fellowship among Winnebago-Itasca owners on the space coast of Florida. The chapter colors are red, white and blue which are displayed on their logo consisting of a "Winnie" orbiting the globe. If you own a Winnebago manufactured RV we would like to invite you to attend one of our meetings and get acquainted with our group. Local chapter meetings are held the second weekend of the month (except for June-August). Please do not hesitate to call about attending our outings - we welcome visitors. We can guarantee good food, games, craft projects, and lots of good conversation. The Florida space coast has a wealth of attractions for visitors including the Kennedy Space Center where you might see a space shuttle launch or return, a pristine beach on the Atlantic Ocean at the Canaveral Seashore where birding is also a world renown pastime. It is also only a 45 minute drive from the attractions in Orlando such as Disney, Seaworld, Universal Studios and the like. 2008 Space Coast Officers President: Acting President: Don Hawthorne Secretary: Ken Buckley Treasurer: Jo-Anne Buckley Past Campouts March 2008 |
