| SPACE COAST WINNIES NOVEMBER MEETING Date: November 20, 2007 Camper’s Holiday Park Time: 10 AM Brooksville, FL A regularly scheduled meeting of the Spacecoast Winnies RV Chapter took place at Camper’s Holiday Park in Brooksville, Florida. Attendees were Abbotts, Andersons, Blocks, Buckleys, Cesareos, Hawthornes, Koehns, Mattson, Light, Ragonas, Rittenhouses, Stones, and Whisenants. A quorum was achieved. This was a Friendship Rally with the “Sunshine Bell” of the Telephone Pioneer Family Campers. Hosts were Bob and Helen King from “Sunshine Bell”, Judy Block, Marie Mattson and Martha Whisenant. Veronica Koehn gave the invocation. Don Block led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. New members Joseph and Antonette Cesareo were introduced. Klaus-Jurgen and Heidi Langer are also new members but not present. Get well wishes to Carolyn Harris, Denise Stone, Lois Stedman, Ed and Jean Stover. We gave “glad you are better wish to L.C. Anderson and Paul Ragona. OLD BUSINESS Treasure’s report gave a balance of $2,747.49 as of October 31, 2007. Minutes from the April 14, 2007 meet in Orlando were read and accepted. Changes in the Bylaws have been accepted by WIT. NEW BUSINESS Vice-President, Don Hawthorne gave a special thank you to Diane Hawthorne for all her great work planning campouts. Don read a Letter from the Volkmers about Kars Park in Merritt Island as an additional campout between Christmas and New Years Day. December campout will be at Manatee Hammock in Titusville on November 29-December 2, 2007. Hosts will be Judy Block, Marie Mattson and Martha Whisenant. Members are requested to bring a $10.00 gift or the Chinese auction. Christ Aid will cater the diner. Christ Aid is one of our charities and members are asked to bring donation. Ron Koehn made a motion to donate $100.00 to Christ Aid. L.C. Anderson made the second and membership approved. The February 20-23, 2008 at the Florida Flywheelers is tentative pending more research by Ron Koehn who will be Wagon Master for the event. Nominating committee for new officers include Lucy Anderson, Marie Matteson, and Martha Whisenant. Motion was made, seconded, and accepted to adjourn at 11:05 AM.
