W.I.T. Chapter of Excellence WELCOME Thanks for you interest in our Winnebago-Itasca-Travelers, Ocala Sun Birds Chapter. We welcome ALL owners of a Winnebago Industries Product. Monthly Camp Outs are held during the months of October through May. No Camp Outs in June - Sept. Dates and places are announced in "Birds Words" (our monthly news letter) The "Ocala Sun Birds" are a chapter of the Florida State Club "Winnie-Gators, Inc" which is a club chartered by the "Winnebago-Itsca Travelers" of Forest City, IA. OUR MISSION > To promote fellowship, friendship and fun among all members of WIT; to foster and develop recreational, social and travel opportunitites for the enjoyment, pleasure and use of the members of WIT; and to encourage gatherings and outings on local, state, provincial, and international levels. > To assist in protecting member's rights as a private RV owner. To serve as a feedback mechanism to Winnebago Industries. To assist in the formation and maintenance of state and provincial clubs, international clubs, and local chapters. > To support the Florida State W.I.T. Then we go our separate ways North for the summer as our name implies. Our meetings are usually 3 days and 2 nights on the 3rd weekend of the month. We share in fun, food, local activities, crafts, as well as information about our rigs and travels. If you think you may be interested, and would like more information, please call or write to us.
