Sunshine Winnies Campout Report July 2008 Chapter President is Bob Garvin 407-671-6636 By Bruce Cinader Secretary Ten coaches participated in our rally with all arriving on, or before Thursday July 10, 2008 at the Blueberry Hill R.V. Resort in Bushnell, Florida. The group consisted of the Anglin’s, Bock’s, Cinader’s, Collin’s, Dunn’s, Dzwonkowski’s Fumia’s Garvin’s Schultz’s and the Stewart’s. Our hosts were Bill and Barb Stewart. We also had the Janowich’s stop by for a short time but could not stay because their coach was in for service. All were set up early and had time to socialize, and have time for shopping at the Wall Mart right next to the camp ground, and have lunch on our own, before our happy hour at 3:00PM. We also found time to tour the newly acquired coach of the Dzwonkowski’s and do some motor home repair work on some of the other coaches. When dinner time arrived we all gathered together in the beautiful and spacious club house and had a dinner prepared by our host. Friday morning we all gathered for a breakfast of waffles and coffee prepared by Vangie Cinader and juice and desserts, by our hosts and other members. For dinner the Stewart’s prepared our dinner side dishes as we all grilled our own meat of choice, on the gas grills just outside the dining room. We were finished by 7:30PM and had time for chatting and socializing after the delicious dinner. We all got to enjoy the karaoke entertainment by Vangie and Peggy and some others, brave enough to try their singing skills, before we enjoyed playing pool and also cards, and the nickel game again. Saturday we gathered for a breakfast of an egg casserole prepared by our host Barbra Stewart, with coffee and juice and desserts. We had our group meeting after breakfast, and held a 50/50 drawing after the meeting. Most of the day was on our own while some did arts and crafts, others shopped, and some took advantage of the nice pool. While many of the members gathered to play the nickel game. Later in the day, dinner was prepared by our host again, with the help of some of the other members. We all loved the campground, and the clean and fresh facilities, and have already made our reservations to return. We all agreed it was a great campground and a good value especially with the rally discount given to us. This campground is a highly recommended place to visit in our opinion. Sunday we had a quick continental breakfast and left the campground after we all said our last good byes to each other, until our next campout in just a few short weeks.
