The Florida Sunshine Winnies held their April Meeting at the KOA RV Park, Lake Park Georgia.

Most of the coaches arrived Thursday April 15, 2004, traveling 3 to 4 hours from their Central Florida home, Twenty-seven members and
2 guests , Bob and Alice Garvin were present for this event.

Friday the ladies went shopping at the Factory Outlet Mall close by. Lots of good buys at the different store.  Back at the campsite the ladies did some crafts for the upcoming GNR.  The Friday evening meal was light with servings of cold cuts and different kinds of cheeses. After the meal
we retired for the night.

Sat morning started out with a big country breakfast consisting of biscuits and gravy, eggs, grits, juice and Coffee. All was very good.

All 29 of us went to the Fish Net restaurant for our dinner meal.  The restaurant is located on a country road.  The building is very quaint and rather rustic but the food and service was excellent.  Most had Seafood platter, but there had to be one that had Prime rib.  Back at the recreation hall we celebrated the clubs 19th birthday.  Only one member (couple) of the founder of the club remained, Roy and Bernice Johnson who have been very active in the club over the years.  There was some reminiscing about the early beginnings of the club.   Ice cream and cake was served.

This weekend were compliments of our sponsor The Suncoast RV Dealer in Winter Garden, whose manager is Jeff Farah.  It was a fabulous weekend.

After Sunday’s breakfast we said our good bye and headed home.
