Five coaches arrived Thursday January 17th at the Old Mill Stream RV Resort in Umatilla, Fl., and were joined by Bruce and Vangie Cinader and Ed and Janice Underwood on Friday morning. The coaches in attendance were the Cinader’s, Collins’s, Garvin’s, Schultz’s, Stewart’s the Underwood’s, and for a short time the Auglin’s, who chose to leave early Friday morning because of problems with there brand new coach.

Thursday night was a chilly cook off night and a nice dinner was enjoyed by all present.

Friday morning the girls got together by 9:00AM and went shopping until our happy hour at 4:00 PM. Some of the guys went to look at motor homes at Ocala Suncoast RV and off to the Ocala RV show after that.

After our 4:00 PM happy hour we carpooled to a nice dinner only a few miles away at the Quardeck Seafood restaurant. We all enjoyed a great dinner. Returning after a great dinner we headed back to the activity center and played pool and cards and watched TV. We all had many laughs and a great time.

Saturday morning was started off with a breakfast of eggs, sausage, grits and toast, prepared by our hosts the Garvin’s. After breakfast some of the girls went shopping and worked on crafts later in the afternoon, while some of the men went to Wall Mart again lead by our Wall Mart Guide Jack Collins. Dinner of corned beef and cabbage and salad was prepared by the Garvin and Collins team while Vangie Cinader prepared an Asian style egg roll for every one to enjoy. After dinner and a fast clean up we all went to see a fantastic show and dance in the resort. The entertainment was by a husband and wife team known as David and Loraine. They played oldies and sang and were great, sounding like an entire band and entertained a packed house. Best $3.00 we ever spent especially when you consider, the all you could drink beer and soft drinks were included.

We got up Sunday to a bright sunny day and had some more time together in the pavilion to have a quick breakfast and say our goodbyes.
