SUNSHINE WINNIES LOCAL
CHAPTER The
January Sunshine Winnies campout was
held in conjunction with the Florida
Winnie-gators on Jan 28-30, 2005 at Wild Frontier, Ocala,Fla Those
present were Roy and Bernice Johnson, Sally and Herb Brown, Joy and Buster
Williams, Peggy and Jack Collins, Tom and Opal Tuttle, Joyce Nissen, John
Sorensen and friend Lucille. Thursday
evening most of our early arrivals brought in their wonderful covered dish
which they prepared.followed by playing games of their choice. Due to the
misty rain and cool weather there was
not much going on outdoors. Shopping at the Turning Wheel RV
Center and enjoying the hot dogs that they were sponoring for everyone
during the weekend was Great!! The
Rainbow Caterers served
Sloppy Jo's with all the trimming on Friday nite, Our Lucky
Lady, Opal Tuttle won the
50/50 on Friday nite. On
Saturday, besides the most filling breakfast, Sky-Med spoke to all the The
General State Meeting was
held by President Gail. who was holding her last meeting and saying
farewell to all. The new
officers were nominated and will take office in March when they will be
installed. A hugh applaud was given to all All clubs
were asked to bring 4 homemade cakes or packages of homemade cookies for
the cakewalk at the March Rally. Our
President, Tom Tuttle had a business meeting at his rig on Saturday and
the Also,
the April Winnebago Rally at Valdosta, Ga which will be our
Sunshine Campout. This is organised by Suncoast Rv from Winter
Garden.Opened to all Fla Winnebago clubs. Saturday
evening ended with many RV'ers going home with really nice Plans for
a group picture at our April campout see you there! Fran
